On Saturday, March 15, 2025, Fran read her poem that appears in the anthology titled Delmarva Review--The Best of 2008-2023. One of Fran's poems, originally published in 2022, is included in the anthology, She also read a selection of her poems published in journals and in her books. Eight other authors whose work was selected for the anthology also read their work.
On August 8, 2024, Fran was one of the featured readers at MoCo Underground (MOCO UNDERGROUND WRITERS SHOWCASE | Just Scribbling), a reading series held at Sandy Spring Museum in Sandy Spring, MD. She read selections from her published books and a new unpublished poem.
On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Fran read a selection of poems from each of her three books at the Wilde Reading Series presented by HoCoPoLitSo (hocopolitso.org) in partnership with the Columbia Arts Center, Columbia, MD.
On Saturday, May 20, 2023, Fran read from her book titled I Rode the Second Wave: A Feminist Memoir, at the Gaithersburg Book Festival (GBF) at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg, MD, and signed books after the reading.
On Thursday, May 4, 2023, Fran read poems from both of her new books at DiVerse Poetry reading series at Casey Community Center in Gaithersburg, MD, and signed books after the reading.
On Sunday, April 23, 2023, Fran read her poems on the Poetry Stage at the Kensington Day of the Book Festival.
On Sunday, April 2, Fran read her poems at Washington Writers’ Publishing House virtual reading welcoming Poetry Month.
On January 19, 2023, Fran was the guest poet on Quintessential Listening: Poetry Online Radio hosted by Dr. Michael Anthony Ingram. They discussed her book, "I Rode the Second Wave: A Feminist Memoir" and she read a selection of poems from the book. You can download and listen to a recording of the program here.
On June 29, 2022, Fran was a guest poet on Zoom at Poets vs. the Pandemic, sponsored by The Word Works, with featured poet Sue Ellen Thompson, and guest poet Aaron Caycedo-Kimuro. You can see the program here. Fran's part begins at about 17:18.
On March 18, 2021, Fran read her poem from This Is What America Looks Like, and several other poems she has written, at a poetry reading on Zoom presented by Washington Writers' Publishing House and the City of Takoma Park.
